Reporting an error

Send the page address and, for a calculation, the link from the address bar, which contains your inputs. Tell us what makes you doubt the figure: a catalogue number, a section of the StVG or KraftStG, a tax notice with a different amount (please remove names and file numbers). Every confirmed error is fixed and added as a test case, as described in our editorial policy.

Embedding the calculator

Driving schools, expat associations, employers with company cars and newsrooms can embed the fine calculator free of charge. The code is on the embed page.

What we do not do

We do not advise on individual fine notices, check speed measurements or recommend law firms, experts or driving schools. For your own case, the fine office, the licensing authority or a legal adviser is the right contact.

Response time

Usually within five working days, error reports first. All legal values are reviewed at least every 12 months and whenever a law changes.
